Whether you already have a home business or you need to create one, I believe my 3-step Home Business Process will change your life and how you create or recreate your business.

With specific guidelines, it can be a breeze to begin or turn your existing business into a success. It may take some time, but the process isn’t as complicated as it appears if you understand the following:

IT’S NOT ABOUT “MARKETING,” IT’S ABOUT “MANAGEMENT.”

“Marketing skills and application” are the easiest parts.

There is a myriad of information that tells us how to build a list, create products, build a web site, and become an affiliate. And we’re told by advertisers of all the latest home business Internet products that only their “secrets” will bring us success.

However, only the basics really work. All that is really necessary is to learn how to manage a few steps by implementing them in the right order and knowing how to work them.

Just keep your study materials to a minimum by reading only what is relevant to you and your business at a particular time.

So what am I going to tell you that many others don’t?

The steps needed to create a productive and fulfilling business and the guidance for managing them properly. In this email, I’ll give you a general picture of what you’ll be learning.

A small business is like anything else. It will develop and grow through a simple 1-2-3 process or formula.

- watch it grow and produce fruit (fulfillment

and financial reward)

So how does this translate into good business sense for success?

It’s not a mystery, but the way success is attained for anything in life. Take children for instance.

They begin as an egg (seed). We water and fertilize them with love, values, and intellectual and physical growth. As a result, they become functional-successful human beings.

THE BEST WAY TO GUARANTEE OUR SUCCESS?

By remaining focused upon each of the steps mentioned above in their right ORDER. Stick with me and I’ll show you how to do that.

FINDING YOUR SEED of Success

Thank you for joining me for this continuing series. I promise it will produce an exciting business that you can wake up every morning excited to work.

For a review, below are the three steps I gave you in the last email. We will deal with Step 1 beginning in this email.

- plant your seed (business idea)

- water and fertilize it (marketing)

- watch it grow and produce fruit (fulfillment

and financial reward)

Step No. 1 is the most important. You must choose which type of seed you desire to plant for your business idea and then determine which ground is the most fertile to plant it. It is important that this step not be rushed. Take your time as the discovery process is the development of your business theme or money idea.

WHY IS THIS STEP SO IMPORTANT?

It is important for you to become an expert in a given subject to attain credibility. If you plant multiple seeds all at once, you will have many subjects that you know little or nothing about.

To establish credibility, you must begin with one area of expertise at a time. Otherwise you won’t be able to develop your idea properly. You’ll be working so many different areas, you’ll end up overwhelmed with feelings of discouragement and failure.

Once you develop your main theme, then you can move to other interests. However, it is most helpful to branch out from within you main theme.

Once you have the right theme, you can build a business or an Internet business through a website around it with guaranteed success. However, you must do two things in this process.

1. You must choose a theme that reflects

who you are, what you believe, or what

you know, and ..

2. You must insure that it has enough

relevance or popularity and demand to

make you money.

There are ways to do this, but I will get into them shortly.

For now, spend time developing at least three or four ideas. Think about what you enjoy, where you have experience, or what you love enough to research and become an expert doing.

Although passion for an interest is helpful, it’s not always enough to base a business upon if there are few people interested in it or if it is something that people expect to receive for free, or they have little inclination to pay for it.

In this stage, you must focus upon your theme idea wholeheartedly. Nothing else in the process!

WARNING: It is vital that you do not look to your business at this stage as a means of

solving your current financial problems or to increase your income. This will cause you to rush and not complete the development process. You must water and fertilize first.

If you take the proper steps, you will actually realize your financial return much sooner.

Nothing good is usually achieved through desperation or impatience.

Take a few days to think about 2 or 3 theme ideas that you believe will give you great fulfillment or that you have experience and expert knowledge about. Write down about 25 and then narrow your list.

Keep your ideas narrow as well.

Example of ideas:

“making soap” “out of date sheet music” “baby shoes” “mineral foundation.”

Eliminate broad ideas like: “books,” “music,” “toothpaste” “shoes.”

TESTING YOUR BUSINESS SEED

For Success Potential

I hope you have participated in my series so far. I believe it has much to offer you. This is actually a part of my training for those who desire a home business, but can’t seem to get one started on their own.

So you are getting some great training that will pay you large financial dividends

throughout your life.

If you haven’t yet chosen a few ideas for your business theme, I have a book that will help you determine your business. It will also help you get started in a business immediately if you can’t decide what to do.

When ready, please proceed with this section. Unless you have an idea that is already

working for you, it’s best to have at least two or three ideas to research.

LETS BEGIN:

From this point on I will refer to your business idea as your keyword. For more information about what a keyword is and what it means to you, I have an article on the subject. I’ll give you that link shortly.

YOUR GOAL:

To analyze the supply, demand, and profitability of your keywords.

You must do keyword research on each of your ideas beginning with the one you believe will give you the most enjoyment.

HOW DO YOU DO KEYWORD RESEARCH?

I have included 3 alternatives for you if you don’t already know how to do keyword

research or you don’t have the tools available.

However, if you do have the tools or you know someone who can help you, then please proceed with what is available to you in order to complete this section. If you need help, see below.

Method 1:

I learned how to do keyword research through my current website, SBI. It offers all the tools I needed for free. At present most of my page keywords are ranking number one on Google, which is the way to obtain the people who are most interested in what one has to offer.

By using the free keyword development and research tools provided, I was able to choose the right keywords for my theme and succeed in a greater way than ever before.

I believe this is the best method for many reasons. One of the best is that most people will succeed or work through a project when they make a financial commitment. SBI offers thousands of dollars of free tools for small business website success for free.

Method 2:

This next tool is extremely helpful for the development of a home business that is either off or online. Rather than explain here, use the link below to find out what keywords and keyword phrases are and what they mean to you.

On that same page, you can download the first chapter of a great keyword research book that will be of great help to you. And it's free.

This book has proven to be a great asset for keyword search and research understanding with tons of links for free tools.

Method 3:

Use a keyword tool. My favorite is Keyword Swarm. This software can be used easily and effectively. I use mine often for quick research for my website pages.

It will also help you discover hidden niche markets, and to analyze the supply, demand, and profitability of your keywords as mentioned above.

Remember your goal and stick with it. Don’t move forward until you have decided upon your perfect niche market through keyword research.

It’s time to water your niche idea if you have your keyword research accomplished.
Continue to keep a blind eye to all the marketing information you see on the Internet.
At this point, it will only confuse you and perhaps cost you success.
You need to gather your gardening tools first.
So what’s next?
KEEP YOUR BUSINESS SIMPLE and keep It Organized!
Water your business as you would seeds planted into the ground. Water on a regular
basis, but don’t over water.
Gather together and organize only what you will Need. I have a book to help you do
that. See below.
What is your theme? Are you an online business, offline, or both?
If you don’t already know the specifics of what you need, begin making a list now. Your
seed is in the ground, but it won’t grow if you don’t feed it.
If you are a local business only, you must decide what “tools of the trade” you will need
to purchase, what type of people to reach, how to reach them, and what type of system
is needed for keeping track of all your expenses for tax reporting.
The same goes for an internet business. You will need a website, a computer, and access
to the Internet, but if you’re reading this, you are all set with at least two out of the three
mentioned.
If you take time to make your list and research your start-up costs, you will know how
much money you must have to begin. With an online business, you can begin with little
or no start up costs.
Should you have little or no money, then do more research to discover how to cut costs.
For instance, when I first began my writing and publishing business, I used an old copier
we had to create my books. I purchased my paper in reams instead of packages and saved
a bundle. My overhead was less than a dollar per book.
Be ready with a means of keeping track of your expenses and sales before you even
begin. This will guarantee your growth once your seed has broken ground. I use an Excel
program. Ask your tax person what deductions you can legally claim.
With that, I will end this portion of Step 2. Next week I’ll get into the fertilizing of your
seed.

By now you should know what type of business you want, if it’s going to make you money, and how you’re going to promote it.

By choosing something you love or have a passion for, you will be able to develop patience and determination during this period of growth.

Your seed has been watered and fertilized, but it hasn’t yet broken ground.

Now, it is time to give it a name and a destination in order to see that little crack in the ground as your seed pushes its way to the light.

In other words, it is time to open shop and take action with your plans!

What is the next most important step?

Even if you wish to keep your business local, it’s in your best interest to create a strong web presence.

You need a website that will easily guide you into all the important aspects of a

successful website and that will give you the tools to do just that.

If you don’t have such a website, you need to know how to build one correctly.

DOING THIS WILL GET YOU LOTS OF FREE TARGETED TRAFFIC!

There are a few basic rules to follow.

1. As you have already learned, you need a theme keyword.

2. Next, you will need lots of quality content including the right amount of your pages’ keywords placed accordingly, their titles’, links to other specific pages on your site, and more valuable keywords to give you greater placement on Google and the other major search engines. (SBI does this for you with Analyze it)

3. You will need to get as many reciprocal links that are similar to your theme, yet

not in competition. (my website has a free link

exchange)

4. You will need to create an XML file for all your pages for the 4 major search engines to insure that all editing you make is seen immediately. Yes SBI does that to! If you don't have SBI you can look up "XML File" on Google to learn how to do it yourself.

It's time to think about how you plan to monetize!

If you have a home business that will be serving your community only, then you need to decide how you will take payments, which merchant account to use, what sales forms you prefer, what phone system to use or will you prefer just an extra phone line, etc. You must also establish whether you will be selling wholesale if you have a product, retail or both.

If you have a service it is helpful to determine the parameters of what you will and won't do for your clients to establish a business policy.

You should know if you will need help right away or if you can handle your business alone or with family members only.

If you have started your website, you cannot begin to monetize just yet. You will first have to develop great content in order to establish yourself as an expert in your theme. When that happens, you will then have the credibility to get orders for your product unless you have already done that in your local area or on a larger level to some extent.

Should you have an affiliate website, you still have to write great content, but you can begin obtaining your affiliate sources and placing them within the most appropriate pages.

After you have written about fifty pages, you can apply for Google adwords.

There is other affiliate advertising you can do as well that will be appropriate to your theme, but I will give you those sources later.

So, for now, write and write and write. It's fun and it will not only be helpful to others, but it will pay you a financial reward as well.

It will also help you to find websites that offer articles on your theme that you can use. All you have to do is include the author and their website address.

Here is a great source: Article City You can Google for other sources to use or you can outsource to have professionals do it for you.

If you wish to have a successful website, it isn't difficult, however, you need to follow what works. If you continue using the same methods that have given you less than mediocre results, you need to change what you do.

Use the same keyword for your page html title (health.html), Page title, Major keyword, Page description, Headline, and the first 90 words of your page. 2. Use at least one text link on your page, but no more than two. 3. Make sure to use your keyword throughout your page, evenly distrubuted. However, don't over use it. Many of my new pages rank No. 1 almost immediately after I publish them. This will work the same for you as well. Also my website keyword is no. 1 ranking for Google, Yahoo, Live and Ask, the four major search engines. So, if you have chosen to use a website such as mine, SBI, that will make it easy to get your word to the right people for a hobby or a business, it will snowball. In time you will have a successful home business that you can love and enjoy everyday while you take care of your family at the same time.
