Money Coach Personal Analysis: Questions and Answers

1. Have I always had a constant flow of money since I first learned about God’s principles?

Even though I've been a personal money coach for over eight years, I have to be honest, my finances haven't always prospered. So the answer to that question is a profound no! It took me some time to believe that God wants His people to prosper.

I grew up in a family where some of my relatives were so greedy they would do anything for money. For example, they saw nothing wrong with taking advantage of the elderly who were experiencing financial difficulties. They got rich buying their homes below market value and then selling them high.

As a small child, I promised myself I would never be like them, so to me that meant I would never be rich. I believed that to have money was evil until I was on my own and had to pay bills. It was then I started thinking about having more money.

Not long after, I began to realize from my Bible studies that God has a financial plan and desires His children prosper.

I also learned that I was looking at money all wrong. In fact, it wasn't money that was evil, it was some of the people who used it that were evil. It wasn't the physical aspect of money that I needed to understand differently. Instead, it was what money represented for me and the extent of my belief system that I deserved what I desired.

I began to change my thinking in my thirties, but it was difficult to have the wealthy mindset I needed to prosper financially. I tried to speed up the process, but I kept backsliding because I didn't have enough knowledge to destroy my negative mentality. I needed someone to help and motivate me. It would have been great to have a personal money coach at that time.

I continued to work hard at it until I learned there was little work to do on my part other than to change how I thought, what I said, and how I acted. That was the beginning of my wealth building, but it was slow because I still didn't see myself as wealthy. To me it was a future condition.

However, rather than look at my slow progress as negative, I feel that my past loss is your gain! It caused me to desire others to learn quickly what it taught me years to learn.

I know the stumbling blocks to getting rich financially because I've had them all. And in case you're not from the United States of America, you may be thinking that your country is holding you back. I've had client's make that statement. That couldn't be further from the truth. No matter what country you live in, you can still prosper financially because God's principles are spritual laws! They work anywhere.

My finances and yours are not dependent upon what country we live in, but what mind-set we develop.

2. Does the fact that it took me many years to claim my financial wealth make me a bad money coach?

Absolutely not! It's quite the opposite.

I believe this makes me a great teacher and financial coach because if I were rich by birth and had developed a wealthy mindset from a young age, my financial state would have always been positive. I doubt I would had the understanding and information needed to help others become wealthy God's way.

I wouldn’t know how you think nor could I understand what trials you’re going through. Because of my experience I've been able to stop others from continuing on the wrong path to financial success because I was on it; but I got off! Now my finances are on the path of continual growth!

3. Have I had financial set-backs since I became a personal money coach?

I think this is a good question because I believe the answer will be helpful. As I said, I’m a late bloomer when it comes to wealth. Some of my clients take the information I give them and receive large sums of money right away -- and it just keeps coming to them because they learned how to work with God.

I had to learn on my own without benefit of a money coach while trying to overcome a very negative mineset. It took me years to develop the specific faith I needed for helping my husband to build his career, and then mine. I wanted to work from home to be with my children, so I started a business from scratch and it was highly successful --- and even better, I loved it!

However, had I known what I know now, I wouldn't have made the process so lengthy. I would have been able to have the faith to increase our money without looking at our work as the only source of our wealth. I was sincere and I got results, but we both worked too hard.

Also, when it was new for me to have money flowing into our home, I experienced financial setbacks because I didn't know how to get rid of the fear and doubt that made me afraid it wouldn't last. As a result, our finances were up and down.

Looking back I remember such prevailing thoughts as, “what if my business stops bringing an income? What if people stop wanting what I’m writing?...What if?...What if?”

All that fear caused a big gap in the income I was earning at that point because I was afraid to transition when I knew the time was right. Instead, I moved in a completely different direction -- I got a job for much less money than I was making for security. Our money decreased instead of increased.

This led to the wrong actions. I started working hard out of doubt, fear, and worry. I set my actions on the wrong path and we began to struggle again. I still had much to learn and after reviewing my mistakes, but I used them to get back on tract.

Now our finances are every increasing, and if we were to lose all our money today, we would still be wealthy. Because wealth is a state of being. There's no doubt we would quickly get all our money back, and it's that mindset that I teach as a money coach because it's so crucial for receiving money quickly.

4. Am I rich?

Absolutely and so are you! My finances were always abundant and always had the potential for wealth, even when I had little. I just didn’t know it. Had I learned to work God’s financial plan into my life at an early age, I would have never wanted for money and would have had a strong success mentality developed much sooner.

I’m not going to bother defining rich from the dictionary. Rich to me is experiencing a constant flow of money that ever increasingly grows and flows. And true wealth is having a truly splendid life of family, love, and God at the center of my life. It's having everything!

As a personal money coach I can help you discover that same lifestyle.

5. Do I believe that we should give to our grown children the money they need to start their lives?

A little help is fine if they're honestly trying to do their best to stay on an honest path and the road to a purposeful goal. However, we cheat them out of growing a consistent wealth experience for themselves if we keep giving them all the financial assistance they request.

It's wrong to keep helping them out of pity because we don’t want to see them struggle with their financial growth. We should be proud of them and show them God's way to wealth. Otherwise they'll always be dependent upon you for financial assistance.

My finances and yours, if your lacking in money, were developed by our past environment, but we don't have to let our children be victims of our ignorance. We can show them the way to God's wealthy living principles.

Learn how to develop finanancial prosperity in your life, and you can become a money coach to your loved ones and friends. The more we teach others to prosper financially, the wealthier we become.
