Tithes And Offerings

tithes-offerings

GIVE YOUR TITHES AND OFFERINGS IN OBEDIENCE TO GOD

It is Biblically correct to pay tithes to the church where you attend that is Biblically based and is a spiritual blessing to you.

According to Malachi 3:10-11, you will receive a window of heaven blessing when you pay your tithes, but you have to know how to put faith over your giving to make it prosper you financially and other areas of your life.  It is the responsibility of the church you attend to help you do this.  This is why many Christians are drowning financially.  They are not taught about how to prosper financially within the ministries they attend.

The leaders of your church should be held accountable for what they do with the tithes and offerings they receive. They should be willing to post a graph showing where and how they spend the money they receive.  They should always make that information available to anyone who asks within the congregation.

They should also provide Bible studies and counseling to help their members take part in God's Wealth Plan.  If all they do is take their congregation's money without teaching how to increase it, they are not doing their job.

Wisdom dictates that if church members are taught how to increase their tithes, they will be be able to give more into the church.  So it is to everyone's best interest, as well as God's, to learn how to receive a financial return on every tithe and offering given.

More About Giving Into God's Kingdom!

God has devised a specific plan to prosper us financially. The more we give the more we’re blessed. But for some of us, it’s difficult to give.

We’re told in Malachi 3:10-11 to pay our tithes to God and in Luke 6:38 we’re told that whatever we give, we’ll receive again. We’re to give financially through our tithes and offerings, and He’ll meet our needs and desires. We must trust God by faith that He’ll keep His Word to us. That means that we must give first and trust that He’ll bless us. We should also give our talents to the Lord and He will see that they are increased.

“Giving to receive” is a spiritual law that everyone can tap into. Being a Christian isn’t a requirement for God’s laws to work, but it gives them more power and ability. If you believe that you have nothing to give, give out of the little that you do have. A few pennies, nickels, or dimes; give what you can and put your faith over that money to be blessed.

If you don’t have money to give, then give God your time. Training yourself to give out of obedience to God will develop the “spirit of giving” in your heart and open the door for great financial and material blessings. Just like faith, your money will grow out of the consistency of your giving, so don’t give up if you don’t receive immediately.

Where and How Do You Give Your Tithes and Offerings?

Give to the church or ministry that you attend or is helping you spiritually based upon the Word of God. It should be helping you to rightly divide the Word of God.

When you do give, ask God in prayer to bless your money, thank Him, and then claim your return on it.  Give quietly (Matthew 23:5)!  If you want to be blessed, don't be showy about your giving, do it in silence.  God likes us to give quietly and in private, so don't brag about what you give, keep that information between you and God whenever possible.  Sometimes our giving must become common knowledge, but when you have a choice, choose to give God's way, with honor, respect, and dignity.

Philippians 4:19:

But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
