Wealthy Living Emotion

Wealthy Living Emotion To Overcome Fear

We all have emotions and whether we realize it or not, most of us let our feelings control our lives at some point or another.  If you don't believe this is true or even that it's a negative quality, you may want to rethink your position.

How many times have you made bad decisions based upon your emotions which went totally against your better judgment?  Or how about that wonderful boyfriend you felt was your whole life until you could't help but look past your emotions to realize his selfish or superficial character.

For the Christian, however, we are supposed to walk by faith and not by sight as we're told in II Corinthians 5:7 to do.  Yet faith gets overlooked by many Christians when their lives become difficult.  They allow their emotions to give them a feeling of impossibility rather than possiblity by keeping their eyes upon Jesus.  This is not that difficult to do.  It just takes a little practice.

Wealthy Living Emotion Is Based Upon Faith

Change the way you react to problems by faith and you will cultivate success.  Doing this will create in you what I call wealthy living emotions.  This is a means of using faith with a passive emotional interest.  In other words instead of allowing a negative circumstance to make you afraid, you lean upon God for strength.  Doing this will give you control over feelings of fear, doubt and anxiety.

For many today there is much fear and doubt for future success.  However this is the best time to trust God for your financial goals to be met.  God is not limited by the seasons of change, even if they bring about recessions or depressions.  With God it doesn’t matter.  His wealth plan is always in motion so you needn’t let your life become victimized by the times.  Instead it can be a testimony of victory for what God can do.

Use this time to be thankful by faith that God is blessing you.  Don’t wait for trouble to seek God and ask for what you want.  Develop a relationship with Him right now, believing that He will keep you in all you want and need.

A great place of thankfulness should begin with the power you have in Jesus Christ.  It will keep you from giving up, even during the worst of times.  You can turn them around.  God will somehow see you through whatever you are facing.  So keeping your eyes upon Jesus is the best way to cultivate wealthy living emotion.

The Lack Of  Wealthy Living Emotion Can Cause Us To Lose Control Of Our Lives

Lately there have been many tragic stories that have been caused by the way people think about or deal with money, but none worse than the one involving a young woman my husband and I know.  Selfishly she caused her family to become a casualty of her emotions negatively influenced by a lack of money.

We were startled to see this young woman, who we had known for five years, on the news for murdering her baby.  She was a business client of ours who enjoyed socializing with us, even though she was a devout atheist.  However, we are all called as Christians to share salvation with the unsaved, so we put faith into that hope.

She and her husband made large incomes, however, she spent more money than what they earned. She was a great case to prove the importance of a budget no matter how much money a family has.

Due to her life-style she and her husband had lost their large home on the hill in a prominent city.  Their savings had been depleted and debt became a nagging issue. As their finances continued to spiral downward because of her behavior, she began to react to life by her negative emotions.  As fear and anger took over, she became hateful of her new husband who was very kind to her – perhaps too kind.  When I tried to help her be thankful for her life and her husband, she became angry.  She blamed him for all of their misfortune, even though she was the cause for most of their debt.

We had become estranged from her because of her unethical behavior in a business dealing as a result of her greed.  There was no excuse for what she had done, but as she allowed her behavior to decline because of her ungrateful and reckless behavior, she was somehow able to commit the worst crime I can imagine – killing her own baby.

I thank God this situation is extremely rare.  But it’s worth mentioning to show how important it is to keep a thankful attitude daily.  This will keep our emotions at a positive level of reaction to life when all seems impossible.

So, walk in God’s will and it will lead to His Wealth Plan that will never leave you wanting for anything.  He will supply your every need and give you an abiding peace.
