Wealthy Living Problem Solving In The "NOW"

Wealthy Living Problem Solving

How many students would all say that math was their favorite subject?  Or at least credit it with being one they like?

In a class of thirty, you may say that perhaps 10 to 35% would be the answer, and you are probably right.  However, the reason for the obvious dislike may be different than you think. Most students today are not thrilled to solve mathematical equations not because they do not know the processes involved, but because they lack interest in it.

In a similar way, our daily activities do not mean 100% joy and 0% problems. At times, we have more problems than joy. Fortunately, some individual are skilled in handling problems right. Want to know their secrets?

Well, carefree people, as some might call them, have one thing in common: optimism.  It’s not that such people have never had problems before, but they encounter problems in a different way than most people do.

Try remembering a colleague, a relative, a friend, or someone from your community who has the brightest smile at the start until the end of the day. How many times did you see that person frown? Carefree people are fun to be with because their attitude is contagious. Have you tried asking them how they carry their problems lightly? Below are their secrets:

  • Learn to control your feelings by separating negative feelings from positive thoughts. This is the first step in solving problems. Only after you have cleared your mind with unnecessary thoughts can you start solving your problems accordingly.
  • Free that scapegoat attitude. Are you pointing your finger or blaming others for mishaps? Take responsibility for your mistakes. No one is perfect, so never put the blame on  others.
  • Use a pen and paper, and rate the depth of the problem and possible answers to your problem.  The probability law principle will allow you to evaluate how far you have thought of resolving your problems.
  • Keep a journal and treat it as a “secret friend” who is always willing to listen to your grievances. Write your feelings freely.
  • Develop an enjoyable hobby or get involved in a physical sport.  This will help you lessen or minimize stress in your life.
  • Take time off from work if you can or from your daily chores at home to create variations of your daily schedule.  Relax, meditate, pray or read scripture.  This will revive you and give you a new outlook.  It is also helpful to take your family on little trips just to get away.  You will find these activities worthwhile in the long run.

The above wealthy living problem solving tips will help you optimize the positive feelings that you do have.  However, if you are consumed by problems in the moment, here are four steps for problem solving:

  • Determine the root cause of the problem. If you think it is difficult, ask hundreds of why’s and what’s and you will soon find out the cause.
  • Think, strategize, and act for resolution.
  • Develop a strong desire to solve the problem.
  • Review the situation for you to avoid repeating the same mistakes committed beforehand.

Consider that everyone experiences problems.  However, they can always be turned into positive situations.

Don’t see problems as a means of annoyance, but opportunities to help you grow.  Problems sometimes come when you cannot accept your limitations. Once you accept your limitations, problem solving is hassle-free.  You can then look outside yourself to God and let Him show you the way.

So never allow yourself to go into a light depression when a problem strikes.  Think of problems as a means of getting you farther in life than you would go on your own.

If you worry or give up, you will block your mind and God’s ability to help you through His guidance.  Thus, you will cause yourself more problems.

Deal with your problems in the “now” and you will discover a new improved you who can override any storm.  For more information about how to live in the now for problem solving and success, click here for an exciting journey into a new life that will produce what you want, instead of what you don't want.
