Wealthy Living Spiritual Growth God's Way
- Bible Study -
Developing A Wealthy Living Spiritual Growth Mindset When we seek after money for money's sake, we take God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ out of the equation for our financial growth. Doing this as Christians, will cause us to lose out on the kind of growth that will prepare us for His will and that will bring us our greatest fulfillment. We will probably experience FAILURE or LESS THAN FAVORABLE RESULTS by looking to money or riches to center our lives upon. We will also find disillusioned results when we look to popular programs with leaders who take credit for Biblical principles. They will eventually separate us from God and His Word, by our listening to worldly means of achieving wealth, rather than God's Word. Even with successful results for receiving what we what, somehow – someway there is going to be a breakdown and without the fullness of God's Word, we will go down to the level of our circumstances when something devastating hits. This is because we need to be armed at all times with the Word that will help us to rest within the peace of Jesus Christ against fear, worry and doubt. Jesus is our redeemer. He redeemed us from sin, (spiritual) death, the curse of the law, sickness, disease, failure, etc. Jesus is our reason why we can be free to succeed in all areas of life! Taking that truth and acting upon it will result in an immediate spiritual growth that leads to a Christian maturity, developing in us wealthy living spiritual growth attitude for God's wisdom, knowledge, blessings, confidence and boldness. As Christians it's important that we follow God's lead instead of combining His program with all the others filtering the financial opportunity market. Programs such as the "Secret" and other derivatives which are popular and can have successful results, can slowly cause us to shift from Biblical principles to worldly solutions by looking up to men instead of God. If you cause yourself to stray from a foundation of Jesus Christ, you will not be able to completely develop that wealthy living spiritual growth mindset or strength that gives you God's ability to overcome difficulties. This is because you can't do this on your own. It can only be done through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. God desires for you to receive all of His blessings, but you must trust in what He says over all else by following the scriptures. Both Old and New Testaments give you the promise of every blessing you desire for health, wealth, success and inner growth for abundance and increase. In this study you'll receive the foundation for that life right from the mouth of Jesus Christ. He is our rock and our foundation and He describes the process of making Him your rock beautifully and easily understood in St. Mark 4:13-20. Please read the verses below before continuing with this lesson by clicking on the scripture link. In those verses Jesus explains the four standards of Christianity. If you pick the correct standard you will be choosing the path to wealthy living spiritual growth God's way. Mark 4:13-20.

The Parable of the Sower
In verse 10 Jesus makes clear the fact that the Word is a secret (not the popular "Secret" as shown on Oprah, of course!) to the world without Kingdom living.
The meaning of a secret in this verse is the fullness of God's Word through the salvation experience that creates a strong spiritual wealth. Without that transformation, the Word in it's entirety is only a mystery. Let me make clear that when I say "standard of Christianity" this doesn't mean that we must go through each one to get to the top.
The unproductive standards are due to ignorance of God's Word, stubbornness, having a negative nature, lack of trust in God, living on the fence Christianity-wise, or having a disregard for the salvation experience because of putting the word of others before the Word of God.
We can go straight from being a new Christian to a standard of receiving God's blessings just by having the desire to learn God's wisdom and following it as we receive it.
Find your standard of Christianity below and move forward with thankfulness straight to the fourth level and don't look back, just enjoy your life. As you do, you will experience wealthy living spiritual growth.
Christian Growth Standard From Mark 4:10
No. 1 The Word is sown within the Christian's heart, but Satan steals it immediately before it can take root. In this experience the Word never reaches the heart. It goes into one ear and out the other. No. 2 The Word is sown within the believer's heart joyfully, but their foundation is rocky and shallow. It has no root. When hard times come because of the Word to test them, they quickly reject God by rejecting His Word. These are the people shaking their heads in agreement with their pastor's sermon on Sundays, but the rest of the week, they turn away from the very truth they heard. They are not bad people, they are just afraid to trust God. In this state absolutely no wealthy living spiritual growth from a Biblical standpoint is achieved. No. 3 The Word comes to this believer but it is unfruitful due to the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches and desire for things. Greed and pride caused by a severely insecure nature must be overcome to move forward here. If this doesn't happen, there is little or no opportunity for wealthy living spiritual growth. Do you see how we must be careful what we listen to and what programs we adhere to? Wealthy living spiritual growth cannot be attained under any of these three circumstances. Reason No. 3 is happening to many Christians because they are rooting themselves in programs which do not have a foundation of God's Word. That double-mindedness will actually cause them failure with whatever plan they use because they are not committed fully to anything. They combine a little information here with a little information from somewhere else. There is no "rock" or "foundation." It's like using a recipe for an amazing chicken dish, but only using part of the ingredients or combining it with another recipe. It's not going to taste as it's supposed to, and it will probably be quite a disappointment. Yes, there is good in some of the wealth programs that are popular, but they will cause a Christian to fall away from the Word instead of encouraging the fourth standard of Christianity which is so eloquently described by Jesus: No. 4 20. Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown." What more is there to say about the fourth standard? Not much other than to proclaim it as the perfect instruction on how to accept God's Word in order to produce a crop of whatever you desire. This is why it's so important to follow God's wealth program with a strong commitment. You'll have all the right motives as well as motivation because the parable of the sower proves that God has provided you with all the wealth you desire, and He also shows you how to have it. God created wealth. The universe did not as so many programs are claiming. So you need to obtain wealth His way, and use it His way for the best results in your life. Having money just for the sake of having more things will not create a fulfilling life. People with this desire are always wanting for more and are never satisfied. Jesus describes the fourth standard of Christianity in a manner so simple you can't help but get the truth of it. It should make clear how to receive from God with the right motives. The result will be the creation of His wealthy living spiritual growth within you. Here is a paraphrase of Mark 4:20: 1. hear the Word (most affective method: personal affirmations) 2. accept it (believe/trust God) 3. produce a crop (receive!) That matches what Mark 11: 23-24 says. Speak what you want (hearing it), believe you have it, and receive it. Our desires being met will actually bring us closer To God by having good soil (a matured spirit) for the Word of God to be sown. As a Christian you must insure that whatever spiritual or financial program you choose to listen to, that you never allow a person over God to be the center of your life. Doing this can cause spiritual growth, but not the wealthy living spiritual growth derived from Biblical principles through Jesus Christ. Return to:
