Wealthy Living Strategies For Success

The following are wealthy living strategies for financial success that will help you in a practical and easy to follow means.

These are real-life scenarios, with each story short but powerful. Should you identify with any of the situations, please note the solution and implement it into your daily routine for success.

Number 1 of Wealthy Living Strategies

Keep A Single Mind Toward Your Goals!

Here is one of the most important wealthy living strategies to follow.

The key verse for this story is James 1:5-8.

James gives us an important spiritual law that is paramount to our success and which makes it the key for this and many other wealthy living strategies.

We’re told not to be double-minded because it causes us to be unstable. Such people don’t do well in life.

I mention this important Biblical law throughout this site, but what does it mean exactly concerning our finances?

It’s a powerful law that will either work for or against you. I’ll show you in this short story how it can or is affecting you right now if you’re not following it daily.

A particular woman I've known for some time had a problem with this principle, and when it was pointed out to her, she resisted any attempts to help her change.

For ten years she worked hard as an internet entrepreneur, but to her dismay, with little or no success. She couldn’t understand it because she knew and understood (she thought) the principles of faith.

She spent what little money she could afford and many laborious hours keeping up with all the latest internet marketing techniques, creating and recreating, but nothing changed for her until one day when she had an illuminating thought.

She remembered a business she had created in the past that had been a phenomenal success almost from day one. She examined her past circumstances with her present failures and realized the crux of her problem.

When she began her current business, she began with the idea that if it didn’t work out right away like her first business had, she would quickly transform it into another business that looked more promising for making an income.

She kept surfing the internet to get ideas for the best business when all along she had ONE. She listened to all the success gurus turning her thinking from one idea to the next until she was ready to give up.

The difference from her past success to her present failure was that she began her first business with only one idea in which she was sure she could become an expert because she loved it. Also by careful research, she found that other’s loved it too.

Secondly, she had no other intention than to make her business a success. Nothing could persuade her otherwise, not even the negativity of her doubting relatives.

Immediately she began receiving orders for her product and as time progressed, she created more like products. Her business grew in leaps and bounds and before she knew it, she was making more money than she had ever made in her life.

After ten years of great success, her business began to decline. Careful thought made her reflect upon what had gone wrong. It wasn’t her product because her competitors were still going strong.

If you guessed it was because she lost her single-mindedness about her business, you’re absolutely right. She remembered thinking that because she was doing so well and because she had never had such great success, it might not last. And it didn’t!

Wealthy living strategies all encompass this important essence of trusting God to provide our financial, material, spiritual, and intellectual goals so that we can be at peace.

Had she kept her thinking focused upon the idea that she was a success and rich in the moment, she would have ended her business only when she decided she wanted to move onto something else that would benefit her more.

The summary of this strategy is clear. With a single mind for success and the belief that we’re already rich today and not in the future – fear, worry and doubt can’t steal our success because they’ll be eliminated from our thinking.

This also allows us to hear the guidance we need that will give us ideas for growth, new products, new businesses, or the ability to receive a great promotion.

The Power of Jealousy, Envy, & Covetness

This is one of the most challenging Wealthy living strategies for many, yet it's simple to practice.

Am I crazy?

How can I make such an anti-Biblical statement by claiming power through these extreme and selfish emotions?

Well, they do have power. Power to fail! They work against wealthy living strategies, so it's important for our success to eliminate them.

But you might ask, "why are some greedy and selfish people wealthy and well respected?"

Having wealth solely for one’s own benefit creates an empty life. It also means working harder for money and having to scheme and plot one’s way to continual success. This lifestyle causes a continual fear of money loss.

It goes against all wealthy living strategies even though it appears to be working on one's behalf for a time.

It doesn’t have to be that way. Really! Creating what you want by faith is the easiest and best way to develop your financial wealth. However it’s important to have the attitude of wanting others to be wealthy too. It’s also important not to envy what others have, but to be happy for them.

Case in fact: Two of my relatives (married to each other) possess the three G’s. Greed, Greed, and more Greed! They coveted what others had and for their increase, they tricked helpless people and the elderly out of their money.

I never once saw them happy for others and in fact they only gave money or help if there was something in it for them.

They had great wealth, but they fought all the time. They hated their daughter, the husband attacked young women and got away with it, and the wife knew it but didn’t care. He died a premature death, while the wife continues living, but she’s now somewhat feeble minded.

These two people had power, but it was the kind that insidiously tricks one into a false sense of well-being that’s only satisfied when taking instead of giving.

What can you give while you’re waiting for the manifestation of success? Give well wishes and good thoughts. Train your mind to be happy for others instead of being jealous or wondering why they have at the moment what you don’t and want. It will soon be yours too if you remain happy for others.

Believe that what you’ve asked God for you have today. Keep your joy flowing.

This is the power you want moving in your life because it will cause your desire to move in your direction faster than if you were jealous and envious of what others have.

How do I know this? It’s a spiritual law. I’ve practiced this principle for years and it feels really great to be happy for others and want the best for them. It also boosts your faith!

Look at all the wealthy people in history. Those who did good for others lived full, productive lives, while those who were mean, and self-serving left a legacy of their misery to future generations of their family.

The Money Behind The Money

I’m using myself as the example in this success strategy. I made a huge error that many people make when believing God for money through His financial program that I believe is worth sharing.

Many times when people achieve success by accident they don’t understand the dynamics behind their achievement for future success. This happened to me when I first began using faith for money. I needed $5,000 dollars to pay off the second mortgage on our home and received it!

The money didn’t come until the very last minute. I kept my faith strong because I believed God wouldn’t let me down.

I began believing God for more money by just claiming what I needed. Eventually I built a substantially larger income through the creation of a home business to supplement my husband’s income.

Once I got money flowing into our household so that we had excess and comfort, I became complacent. I rarely asked God for more money until our supply began to dry up.

Now that can happen, and as long as you know how to get it flowing again you’re fine, but I learned that it’s a smart success strategy to trust God daily to keep the money flowing so that you never have to experience a low supply. Money should come from a variety of sources and perpetuation should be planned for consistent increase.

Our money declined many years later due to unforeseen financial situations. At that time we were living financially on commissions and sales. The first time we experienced a decrease in money I remember feeling afraid, but then I switched to having faith in God for more money. That was the right thing to do, but the money didn’t come as it had before. In fact it continued to decrease.

I didn’t know why, so I analyzed my past and present actions regarding money and realized that by chance I had claimed money the first time in a way that caused the money to come. When I asked many years later, I asked wrong and therefore cut off the channel of financial blessings.

God had already released the money I had asked for, but I failed to receive the physical manifestations of it due to my attitude.

When I first claimed money, I was very organized. I wrote different money requests for all expenses I didn’t have on the front of envelopes. I even wrote ”job promotion” with a dollar amount on one for my husband’s job. Another I had written the $5,000 on it to pay off our second. If we didn’t pay it, we were going to lose our home.

Then I read over the envelopes every day and thanked God for the money specifically for each expense. I received the money consistently and always more than what I asked for.

I didn’t do that later on when our money began to diminish. Instead I asked for money without any real intend of what I wanted to do with it. Does that matter?

Yes! When we need money, I guarantee that unless we see the money behind the money we’ll not receive enough and the “flow will be slow or cut off.”

It’s not enough to ask God for money. You must see the money behind the money by envisioning what you want to do with it. Savings, investment, bills, debt relief, travel, offerings, etc.

You must have a purpose, unless you just want money for money’s sake. But if you want it for a reason, you must affirm daily your purpose for having it.

I hope this lesson will bring you increase and abundance. Please continue to number four of Wealthy living Strategies.

From Hard Work To Riches?

Work Hard and You’ll Get Rich...

And so we’ve been told all our lives. It's been ingrained in us that we’ve got to have a strong work ethic in order to get rich and be able to take good care of our families.

Take some time to think about this wealthy living strategy because it's uncanny how insidiously this particular work ethic can slip into our daily routine.

Just look around. Husbands and wives have to work hard to keep the house, have the cars to get to work, the clothes to look great on the job, the steep monthly day-care costs, and the expense of eating out more often than is healthy. Plus there’s the hectic life of everyone rushing around trying to get everything done on time. This to me is a sad wealth scenario.

I developed a home business to escape that life to keep on top my family’s daily routine, bring up my own children and still have plenty of money to supplement my husband's income. My motives were wonderful but…

Well, I’m afraid I’m my own best example again. I made many mistakes before I learned how to fully use God’s principles for financial prosperity. Old ways are hard to break without a working knowledge of God’s wisdom concerning money. So, I learned many wealthy living strategies by trial and error as I studied the Bible.

My business started making money right away, I was home with my children and kept them from getting into trouble, I got up early and made lunch for my husband, ironed his shirt -- well you get the picture, everything was perfect.

However, if that were true I wouldn’t be the crux of this lesson. While I managed to take care of my family, I got caught up in working too hard to make more money and to make sure my business never dried up.

To force myself to work harder, I would advertise books that I hadn’t finished writing. In those days we had thirty days to get our product to customers through mail order.

All the while I worked with fear that everything would be gone tomorrow if I didn’t keep up the pace. The harder I worked, the more concerned I became about the future of my business.

I kept making more money and more books, advertising them first to keep me on a productive schedule. I wanted my children to be proud of me, but soon enough I realized they just wanted more of me – more of my time. I was tired, but worse I had lost the “purpose” of my working at home.

I had plenty of money in the present, but I didn’t enjoy it because I was worried about not having enough in the future.

Eventually I learned that I could work less hours for more money. Here's how I changed my situation.

1. Every time I thought I needed to work harder, I replaced that thought with the idea that I was already wealthy and didn’t need to work so hard. That action planted prosperity seeds into my mind that took away my doubt, fear, and worry.

I began to feel at peace about money and began to have control over my work habits. I worked for enjoyment instead of the money and that action drew more money in my direction.

2. I stopped thinking about the future when it came to money with one exception. I confessed and meditated upon the belief that for the rest of my life my expenses were more than met. I saw myself writing checks for my bills, having money for general expenses, money left over, and money to give. I saw abundance. I refused any other thinking.

Of all the wealthy living strategies, I put this one into practice with a strong fervor.

I learned how to work less for more money. It came in various ways and still does. I have more time to relax and to get great ideas for making more money that I would never have gotten without being at peace.

So take time out daily to work hard at changing your thinking and in a short time, you’ll be working easy for more money.

Don't Bite The Hand That Feeds You!

I know what it’s like to be at the end of money before all bills are paid. One tends to get protective of every penny.

The mentality gets corrupted by doing this from what God intended for us. Instead of seeing our situation from His point of view, we keep centered upon our lack. This is a failure action that creates fear.

I didn’t realize I was operating in this same attitude many years ago while I was using faith for more money. I wondered why God wasn’t working on my behalf.

But as usual, I came to realize my situation was due to my lack of understanding the wealthy living success strategies.

One day I caught myself thinking that we might lose our home because our money flow continued to decrease and our savings was all but depleted. I was looking at the circumstances instead of the truth from Phillip. 4:19 – that says: “But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory…”

Suddenly, I realized that while I was trusting God for more money, I was pushing His hand away from delivering the increase I needed.

I think there’s a phrase, “don’t bite the hand that feeds you,” if not, well then I just made it up. Anyway, if God says He’ll provide our need, then He will.

However, when we watch every penny and hold tight to them as if they were our last, we’re cutting of our flow of money because we’re saying that we don’t believe God will take care of us.

This mind-set negates any of the wealthy living strategies that might be in operation in our lives.

Faith that God will provide for us is an action. So take your action of success today by practicing a good budget with the belief that God is going to provide all you desire and more.

As your money increases, so can your budget. When you feel fear about money rearing it’s ugly head, replace that thought with the truth that God has already blessed you beyond measure. It’s up to you to take hold of what He’s already brought you!

This is Kingdom Living.
