What is wealthy living thankfulness? It's having the humility in your heart to give God the glory for what He has done for you rather than taking credit for His blessings yourself. Thankfulness, praise and gratitude to God should always be in your heart and on the tip of your tongue!
Do you thank God for answering your prayers before you see evidence? Do you give Him the glory for all that you have and all that you are? It's easy for us to take credit for everything we've achieved, believing that all the good in our lives is because of our own greatness or talents.
However, the real truth is that God gave us the ability to do all things and have all things. He created us in His image and gave us special talents, abilities, and desires to accomplish and fulfill the purpose He put into each of our hearts.
If you're an insecure person, you may not feel you have a reason to thank God, especially if you believe you're a failure. But you must thank Him anyway because He made you a success. He's waiting for you to take what is yours and embrace it. It's up to you to take what He has given you by faith.
You can begin doing that right now by thanking God for the blessing of change and the opportunity for renewal. Don't feel ashamed to give God the glory for what He has done for you. The more you praise and thank God, the more blessed you will become.
Thank and praise Him with acknowledgment for His omnipresent love for you and for the world. Daily give thanks for your salvation; God's gift of life to you and all the blessings that go with it. Then take action and allow them take root in your heart.
