I’ll admit that it’s easy to get lost in feelings of disappointment, despair, and general depression, but we have the power to snap out of those feelings immediately. They only hold us back.

Keep A Wise Perspective About MoneyThrough God's process of developing financial wealth or anything you desire, you'll learn who you are and what you have to be thankful for. Many success systems promise that if you change your thinking everything you want will automatically be attracted to you and everything will be perfect. This is not a sign of a wealthy mind, but a mind filled with desires for outward gratification. For instance, what if your present character can’t handle a specific amount of money and it makes you obnoxious, ostentatious, or mean? This may cause negative circumstances in your life and the lives of others. However, receiving money God's way will be a fulfillment of your total self, not just the emotional and physical side of you that needs more money. Your mind and character will be developed at the same time because you have to use specific principles together for balance in order to have what you say.
This is why it's important to keep a good perspective about money and about who you are. It will give value to your life aside from financial prosperity and career success.
Many people have wonderful memories of when they had little money, but worked a plan to grow their lives and their families. For husband and wives, those feelings can cement them together into a strong bond. So when seeking financial prosperity, never look at your past as a waste because it didn’t include financial wealth. Those times created who you are today. They built your character! In fact I would never take such experiences from anyone by giving them wealth instead of teaching them how to have it on their own. Money without character is so much less meaningful. If you need money to feel good about yourself, you’ll always be insecure and will always look to others instead of your inner guidance for growth and fulfillment.
This attitude will keep you from developing a wealthy mind God's way and you could be in danger of being led astry by people with devious means (see e-book below about the "sheep principle").
Your life is a success right now if you’re happy and content. If you’ve established a loving family, you’re a success. If you’re healthy, you’ve got more than money can buy you. If you love your job and would work it for free, you’ve got prosperity working for you right now. These are conditions of a wealthy mind. If you feel dissatisfied in some of those areas, then it's time to fix them. There's no need to wait or cry about it. Remember, none of us are perfect, but with God, we can perfect ourselves through Jesus Christ this very moment. What I’m talking about is moving forward with God and living the life He created for you to experience. You can begin right now to attract wealth through your God given purpose to create a constant money flow. Since God gave us financial wealth to live abundantly and to spread the gospel, He therefore wants us to work less hours for more money so that we can have more time to serve Him. This is why it's so important that as a part of our spiritual growth, we develop financial wealth. This is Biblical wisdom, and it will create in you a wealthy mind from God's perspective.
"Keep Your Eyes On God"There are many wealth and self-improvement programs that have taken parts of scripture and used them as a means to teach others how to become wealthy. If you're a Christian and desire to develop a wealthy mind, I would like to caution you to make sure you do it God's way.
Scripture taken from the Bible without the whole well-rounded package God intended for preparing us for wealth and success and all other areas of our lives, can cause us more harm than success.
If you want to use worldly programs to enhance Christian faith, that’s fine, but using them without the fundamental Biblical truths--such as God being our creator and Jesus Christ our savior--will cause you to receive less than God's best!
Many are not effective for developing the Christian ethic because they are developed by authors, counselors, and mentors who desire to reach larger audiences than just Christian by stating that we can believe in God or any entity we desire for what we want.
These people are not committed to any specific spiritual source, so how can Christians follow what they say?
You can’t get the fullness of God’s blessings by removing God and Jesus Christ from BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES and SPIRITUAL LAWS! This concept of non-committal to a specific belief or source for one's creation is fine for those persons who have not yet defined their spiritual beliefs, but what this means for Christians is that they will only get part of the Christian message for their success instruction.
While they teach us to have Christian attributes such love for an example, they don't give us a pattern or principles to Biblically define the qualities that make up the God kind of love. This is the love found in 1Corinthians 13:1-8 and when practiced, it will keep us from acting upon love in a subjective manner.
For example, what love is to one person may be weakness to another. By using God’s word as the backbone or the instruction for our love or any Biblical attribute, we’ll all move in the same direction as Christians. This means that if you take God and His Word out of the equation for success, you’ll only get a part of the Christian ethic. Then, most of your behavior to become successful will be based upon your experiences, the experiences of others, or a succession of prosperity programs that all promise to help you get rich TODAY, but are only after your money! If you are a Christian, you cannot sit on the fence with one foot on one side and one on the other. If you want a lasting success that encompasses every part of your life, then you must look to God and His Word to have abundance in your life, not an illusive entity.
